Amirah Equipment Rental (“Amirah”, “we”, “our” or “us”), part of World Star Holding, with its principal place of business at M-2, Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of every visitor, customer and business partner. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through amirahrental.com and our rental operations, why we collect it, how we use, share and protect it, and the rights you have — in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “PDPL”) and other applicable UAE laws.
1. Who we are (data controller)

2. Personal data we collect
Data you give us directly
- Identity & contact data — name, phone number, email address, company name and job role, submitted through our contact, rental, booking-cart and quote forms or given to our team by phone, email or WhatsApp;
- Rental & delivery data — equipment selections, rental dates and duration, delivery address and emirate, site details and operator preferences;
- Commercial data — quotation history, agreements, billing details and correspondence connected to your rentals;
- Compliance data — where you ask us to arrange access to controlled sites (for example CICPA/ADNOC facilities), the documents those authorities require, such as operator identification and certification.
Data collected automatically
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, and referring pages;
- Usage data — pages visited, time on page, clicks and similar interaction data collected through cookies and analytics tools (see our Cookie Policy);
- Communication metadata — records of calls and messages with our team, kept for service quality and dispute resolution.
3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

4. Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone. We share it only where necessary with:
- World Star Holding group companies that support delivery, maintenance, operators and administration of your rental;
- Service providers — website hosting, email delivery, analytics (Google), caching/optimisation and IT support providers, bound to use data only on our instructions;
- Authorities and site operators — where the law, a court, or the access rules of a controlled facility (such as CICPA-regulated sites) require it;
- Professional advisers — auditors, insurers and legal advisers where reasonably necessary.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers (for example website analytics and email services) may process data on servers outside the UAE. Where that happens we take reasonable steps, consistent with the PDPL, to ensure an adequate level of protection — including contractual safeguards with those providers.
6. How long we keep data
- Enquiry data that does not lead to a rental — up to 24 months, so we can respond to follow-up enquiries;
- Rental and commercial records — for the duration of the relationship plus the retention period required by UAE commercial, tax and accounting law;
- Technical and analytics data — according to the retention settings of our analytics tools (see the Cookie Policy).
When data is no longer needed, we delete or irreversibly anonymise it.
7. Your rights under the PDPL
- Access — ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- Correction — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- Deletion — ask us to delete data we no longer have grounds to keep;
- Objection & restriction — object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing;
- Portability — receive certain data in a structured, machine-readable format;
- Withdraw consent — at any time, where processing is based on consent, without affecting prior processing.
To exercise any right, email info@amirahrental.com with “Data request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we respond within the timeframes the PDPL requires. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may also raise a complaint with the UAE Data Office as the competent authority.
8. Security
We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS/TLS encryption across the website, restricted access to systems on a need-to-know basis, security monitoring of our WordPress platform, and staff confidentiality obligations. No internet transmission is completely secure, but we review and improve our safeguards on an ongoing basis.
9. Marketing communications
We only send marketing where the law allows — typically with your consent or to existing customers about similar services. Every marketing message includes a way to opt out, and you can opt out at any time by emailing info@amirahrental.com.
10. Children
Our website and services are directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party websites (for example Google Maps or social networks). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to read.
