Rental, plus the support that keeps a machine working
Most equipment hire ends at the gate: a machine arrives, and whatever happens next is your problem. Amirah is set up the other way round. We hire from our own fleet in Mussafah and we keep the engineering, operator and workshop capability to support that fleet on site — which is why the services below exist as services rather than as promises.
For a short hire on an accessible site, a machine on its own is usually all you need. For a long programme, a remote site, or plant that has to stay productive on a fixed schedule, the support is the part that decides whether the hire works.
What you can hire alongside the equipment
- Quality-assured industrial equipment — plant inspected and certified before it leaves the yard, with valid third-party inspection (TPI) certificates.
- Heavy duty construction machinery — the earthmoving, lifting and material-handling end of the fleet, for structural and civil work.
- Welding and cutting equipment — welding plant and consumable support for fabrication and steel work on site.
- Logistic and operator support — certified operators, transport and the mobilisation side of getting plant to a site and back.
- Workshop and maintenance — servicing, repair and replacement, in our workshop or at your location.
Operated hire and machine-only hire
Every machine can go out either way, and the choice is usually practical rather than commercial.
Machine-only suits contractors who already run plant and hold operators licensed for that class. You take the machine, you run it, and you are responsible for operating it within its rated limits.
Operated hire includes a trained operator licensed for the class of machine. For short hires, unfamiliar plant, or anything involving a lift plan, this is normally the sensible option — an operator who knows the machine will get more out of it in a day than one who is learning it.
Either way the machine arrives certified and serviced. Long-term hire is quoted separately, because a machine that stays on site for months needs a maintenance arrangement rather than a rate.
Maintenance while the machine is on hire
Breakdowns on hired plant are the expensive kind of problem: the machine stops, the crew stops, and the programme slips while somebody argues about whose fault it is. Because the fleet is ours and the workshop is ours, servicing during a hire is something we handle rather than something we subcontract.
For longer hires we agree the service intervals up front, so planned maintenance lands when it suits the programme instead of when the machine forces it.
Site access and documentation
On UAE sites the paperwork is frequently the thing that delays mobilisation, not the machine. We hold TPI certification across the fleet, and we hold CICPA-certified equipment and passes for work inside ADNOC-controlled areas. Insurance terms and operator licences are confirmed before mobilisation rather than on the day.
Where we work
Everything is dispatched from our Mussafah yard. Mussafah, ICAD and KIZAD are short mobilisations; Abu Dhabi city and the islands are moderate; Dubai, Sharjah and Al Ain are scheduled runs, quoted with the machine so the cost is visible before you commit. The full picture is on the UAE equipment rental page.
Starting a hire
Tell us the machine or describe the job, the site and the dates, and say whether you need an operator. You will get a firm figure with delivery, collection, operator and fuel itemised — usually the same working day.
